Historical korzhyn is a saddle bag with two containers. It was made of fabric and wool, decorated with a pattern: the item combined convenience on the road and the skill of a needlewoman. In the wedding environment, the name is associated with an offering to the receiving family; Today, the form, design and content change along with family habits.
When preparing, first decide who the gift is intended for: the owners of the house, older relatives or everyone gathered. These are different tasks. A korzhyn may contain a general meal and individual signed gifts, but it does not automatically replace a kiit, a personal gift to the bride, or the entire wedding dastarkhan. This distinction helps put together a meaningful set without repeat purchases.

The festive opening of the korzhyn is highlighted at a separate moment of the meeting. In one family scenario, female relatives accept a gift, open it, and distribute the contents. Joking remarks and a little gratitude to the participant should be understandable to both parties.

Addressed gifts are given to specific people, and sweets are shared with meeting participants. This is a convenient principle even today: label personal boxes, and collect the treat in separate portions. It is not necessary to evaluate gifts out loud or demand an equivalent answer - it is much more interesting to explain why this particular item was chosen.

It is better to pack nuts separately, preserve the composition of factory-made sweets and take into account the travel.
